Immunology
Immunoglobulin is used to treat primary immune deficiencies (PIDs). Conditions in which the body's immune system does not function properly due to genetic problems, resulting in increased susceptibility to recurrent and/or severe infections.

Hematology
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is used in the treatment of diseases such as: immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AHAI), thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), Evans syndrome, Kawasaki disease, among others.

In intensive care, albumin, coagulation factors and immunoglobulins are blood products used to treat a variety of critical clinical conditions and improve patient prognosis.
