and therapies
Diseases
We develop plasma-derived products for patients in various therapeutic areas: hematology, immunology, hepatology, neurology, intensive care, pediatrics, among others.
Immunology
Immunoglobulin is used to treat primary immune deficiencies (PIDs). Conditions in which the body's immune system does not function properly due to genetic problems, resulting in increased susceptibility to recurrent and/or severe infections.
Hematology
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is used in the treatment of diseases such as: immune thrombocytopenia (ITP), autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AHAI), thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP), Evans syndrome, Kawasaki disease, among others.
Intensive care
In intensive care, albumin, coagulation factors and immunoglobulins are blood products used to treat a variety of critical clinical conditions and improve patient prognosis. Some are sepsis, shock or severe dehydration. Edemas, Coagulopathies, Systemic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (SIRS), among others.
Neurology
Immunoglobulin is used for the treatment of several neurological diseases such as; Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Neuromuscular Diseases, Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis (ADEM), among others.
Hepatology
Albumin is used in the treatment of diseases such as acute liver failure, hepatorenal syndrome, ascites, gastrointestinal bleeding and liver transplantation. Due to its ability to restore blood volume and to counteract some of the complications associated with liver dysfunction.
Pediatrics
Plasma derived products are used in pediatrics to treat diseases such as: anemia, coagulation disorders, platelet disorders, immune disorders. Also liver diseases.
